Software Research Intern
Overview / Role
The position will give an intern direct hands-on training and experience in multiple areas of software development, software architecture, and product prototyping, and working with Open Source Software.
The Software Research Intern will work on:
Development of client software prototypes for iOS and Android
Development of cloud service prototypes using Linux
Working with public cloud providers such as AWS and Google to deploy and scale applications
Reviewing new technology from companies such as Apple, Google and Microsoft to determine impacts to existing products
Evaluate and build solutions using Open Source software.
Work with Docker technology to build new images of Open Source software
Experience / Skills Required.Education Required
Enrolled college student majoring in Software Engineering, Data Science or Computer Science.
