Production Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Manages all manufacturing operations. Manages utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Controls significant manufacturing projects. Maintains authority over budget and scheduling.
JOB ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY
Responsible for:
Planning and managing the production operation, such as scheduling, machine utilization, resources, etc
Managing production personnel, including documenting and reporting their performance
Implementing action to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing processes
Interacting with customers during audits or visits
Providing production reports
Performance indicators and their improvement actions
Managing and coordinating the machines maintenance
Creating and measuring productivity and other performance metrics
Plant Safety & plant security
Following and enforcing QMS procedures and protocols
EXPERIENCE
3
years of experience supervising production work teams.
Knowledge of Production Scheduling / Planning.
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing or similar program, SPC/SQC and 6Sigma
