comUST is looking to hire a Paralegal / Legal Administrator for our busy Customer Contracts Team in Aliso Viejo, CA (or remote) to provide administrative support for customer contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
oReview drafts of various agreements as directed by attorneys, obtain feedback on draft agreements from various stakeholders, and provide consolidated comments to the relevant stakeholdersoPerform administrative duties including creating, preparing, proofreading, verifying, and editing material for accuracy and clarityoPerform research and support activities to assist attorneysoUnderstand and work with complex business-related legal documentsoCreate abstracts of agreementsoProcess fully approved contracts for signature and maintain executed agreements in the repositoryoProactively assist attorneys and other paralegals in responding to various commercial matters as they come inoManage and support contract legal management tools to provide timely assistance in the review, drafting, and negotiation of various contract mattersoTrain internal customers on company contracting processes and proceduresoEstablish and maintain filing systems, classified, sort, and file correspondence, records, media clips, and other documentsoUtilize advanced computer skills to prepare complex correspondence, reports, charts, tables, graphs, and formsoCoordinate with various stakeholders in different departments to ensure compliance with company policy in all customer contractsoCollaborate across functional teams and foster a collaborative environmentoWork independently to manage and complete department functions and prepare Statements of Work, amendments, correspondence, reports, and other documents as neededoWork independently with minimal supervisionoUse discretion and judgmentoOrganize workload to reflect and meet established prioritiesoHandle confidential information professionally and consistently with legal and ethical policiesoConsummate team player with a can-do attitudeoBe available full-time at the corporate office in Aliso Viejo, CA, or remote
Experience:
oRequire 5-8 years in the legal area, preferably in contractingoExperience in a supervisory role is an assetoSuperior writing and oral communication skillsoExcellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-taskoMust be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressureoMust have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independentlyoWork with diverse groups and reach a consensusoAble to multi-task and work under pressureoExcellent time management skillsoAble to adapt to new technologyoProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteoPeople skills including good judgment and tactoAssociate degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certification preferredCompensation based on candidate location and experience between $62-$92K/yearWhat we believe:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
